I moved to Vernon in 1989 when I was seven and attended Mission Hill Elementary. At age nine, I moved to Falkland where my family operated a hobby farm. We lived for two years without electricity and delivered newspapers on horseback!
I love my volunteer work and if we have met, this is likely how.
In my spare time I attend seminars to help advance my understanding and networking in the entrepreneurial world. My entrepreneurial spirit definitely comes from my father–I remember him opening several businesses in Vernon; he was always on the look-out for opportunity. My dad even completed the development of a subdivision and I’m proud to have a road named after me.
I currently work as the Transition Manager of O’Keefe Ranch, I am also an owner of Keystone Property Management based in Vernon with a second office opened in Kelowna in 2018. I have a strong background in the tourism sector and worked for Canadian Rockies Vacation Rentals, Bellstar Hotels and Resorts, Owner Direct Vacation Rentals and have contracted to several hotels in the Okanagan (and more recently, a heli-skiing lodge on Quesnel Lake).
