During her term as Vernon city councilor, Ms. Franks will be a supporter of small businesses, housing initiatives, not-for-profit organizations and all other community members.

Small Business Stability and Assistance

As a small business owner herself, Ms. Franks understands how hard local establishments have been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. She also recognizes that they are vital to the success of Vernon’s economy.

As city councilor, Ms. Franks will support Vernon’s entrepreneurial community by leading progressive new policies that create opportunities for continued growth.

Affordable/Attainable Housing

Ms. Franks will prioritize housing initiatives that make affordable/attainable housing achievable for all people of Vernon. Her experience as a Managing Broker in RealEstate and educational committee member of The Professional Association of Managing Agents positions her well to help residents and families of all ages and sizes, beyond the municipal level.

Not-For-Profit Advocacy

Philanthropy and volunteerism are activities near and dear to Ms. Franks. If elected to Vernon city council, she will support not-for-profit organizations in their efforts to spread their mission, raise funds and make the city a better place to live, work and grow.
